Jessie Jake is known for engaging live performances and the ability to connect with audiences. Whether it’s an intimate acoustic ballad or a full-band anthem, she strives to create songs that connect with everyone on a personal level. These experiences have only solidified her desire to pursue a career in music. She believes music is a universal language that has the ability to heal and inspire all.
Growing up, Jess was influenced by eighties and nineties music which her parents played around the house. In high school, she was choir president and was involved with the theater program. Once she started developing her own ideas, her inspiration only expanded. Some more recent influences include The Driver Era, Dan + Shay, Olivia Rodrigo, Gracie Abrams and Paramore.
Jess plays the guitar, piano and ukulele. While writing all her own songs, she is also always in and out of the studio or writing in her diary, Currently, she is working on releasing singles which will lead to an EP.
Besides music, Jess has many other things to be passionate about. Throughout her whole life, she grew up playing soccer and still continues to. Jess also enjoys writing stories, whether it’s a short story or novel. She loves to read, craft vision boards, meditate, hike, cook, and to take pictures.
As Jessie Jake continues to evolve as an artist, she remains focused on crafting songs that resonate and inspire. With a growing fan base and a commitment music, she is poised to make a lasting impact. She believes music is a reflection of life. It has been her constant companion and she is thrilled to share her journey with you!
Jess was given the opportunity to open for the Rockettes at their Radio City Christmas Spectacular! With her choir, she performed Christmas classics to the audience and provided a great opening to the show. The next day, the show closed due to the rising risk of Covid-19 so, the Jess landed the last performance until Covid was settled.
The summer of 2023 Jess took the opportunity of a lifetime to tour Europe for a month and performed in six different countries! Over the course of the tour, Jess was able to connect with listeners worldwide and gain hands on experience with the music industry. Jess made lifelong friendships and strengthen her connection and love for music.
In April, 2024 Jess preformed at Creation and Chaos Festival. This was her first performance after releasing her debut single “Home” and where she sang it live for the first time. She is beyond grateful for her support system and all the time she gets to spend on stage.
